Society of American Silversmiths
Silversmithing Workshop View #9

This is a larger view of the soldering area with ventilation for eliminating flux, gas, and other fumes. A crock pot for pickle is to the right, but the solution is used cold. A large and small torch can be seen inside the hood on the lower right. The scratch brush unit to the left of the hood is used for cleaning the interiors and exteriors of objects. It's also used for texturing. Note the fire extinguisher to the right of the window and close to the soldering area. I use propane gas and compressed air for soldering and brazing.
