The mono area was then buffed and hand-blended into the surrounding area. With the monogram removed, the metal is, of course, thinner, but still thick enough for the pitcher to be used. I always recommend that if the object is to be reengraved that the monogram be put on a different area of the piece. The entire process took 45 minutes.
